Hello Tony Hickson, it’s a pleasure to have you with us for this interview. Congratulations on your award at last season of the “Casablanca Film Factory Awards”.
Q: Your new movie is “She He It”; in a few words, what is it about?
A: Hi my film She He It is all baout the question of Gender and what it really is and how we look at it as a society, I interview a few different people and hopefully the film is an insight into the way we think today.

Q: When did you plan to do this film?
A: It started during the pandemic that’s why it took so long.
Q: What got you into filmmaking in the first place, and did you receive any formal training on the subject?
A: I firts started making films at 14 with a super 8mm camera then went on to work in corporate video. I later studied for my MA in screenwriting then production at the National film school.
Q: What can you tell us about your film work prior to this film?
A: I usually work with low budgets as this allows me to make lots of short films.
Q: Can you explain or tell us some of the important elements of this film that makes it interesting?
A: The storytelling I learned by doing my MA in screenwriting.
Q: How big was your team and what were the cameras that you used?

A: There was only me I used a canon C300 as my main camera and an H16 Bolex as my 16mm camera.
Q: Directors (and indeed actors) who inspire you and what are your favourite movies?
A: I like Terry Gilliam.

A: I have about 5 documentary projects I am working on at the moment as well as a short Horror film.
