Awards announced for the second season of the ‘Indie World Film Festival’ which focuses to celebrate Film Makers and Creators around the world, who take a risk and do experiments in Film Making. The festival holds a screening for our hand-selected jury members, made up of industry personnel and film fans, where we showcase some of that month’s nominated films. After the screening is over, the jury members vote to decide the winners. Screenings are a jury-member only event, and are not open to the general public. This is a Kerala-based jury-member-only event and is not open to the general public.

Indian film ‘Puglya’, directed by Vinod Sam Peter won the Best Feature Film Award. ‘Puglya’ also bagged additional six awards. Filmmaker Paul Spurrier won the Best Director In Feature Film for his film ‘The Maestro’. S P Somtow won the best actor award for his performance in this film.

Best Producer In Short Film: Dmitri Frolov for the film ‘Last Love’ (Russian Federation).

Best Actor In Short Film: Vladimir Zolotar for the film ‘Last Love’ (Russian Federation).

Best Actress In Feature Film: Sirinya Puengsuwan for the film ‘The Maestro’ (Thailand).

Best Actress In Short Film: Natalya Surkova for the film ‘Last Love’ (Russian Federation).

Best Supporting Actor: Leonid Mozgovoy for the film ‘Last Love’ (Russian Federation).

Best Supporting Actress: Betsy Palmerston for the film ‘The Maestro’ (Thailand).

Best Cinematographer: Rajesh Peter for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).

Best Editor: Thomas Burke for the film ‘The Barbados Project’ (Barbados).

Best Original Score: Somtow Sucharitkul for the film ‘The Maestro’ (Thailand).

Best Art Director: Mahesh Kore for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).

Best Makeup: Sushant Waghmare and Rajshri Kshirsagar for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).

Best Visual Effects: Kishore Madathil for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).

Best Trailer: Arun Kanade for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).

Best Poster: Krunesh Meshram for the film ‘Puglya’ (India).
